  • You're right Randi, excessive meat consumption is unhealthy, and humans were not designed to eat meat (at least not much). And you have to consider most meat today has residues of antibiotics, pesticides, and artificial hormones.

  • Two things that aren't exclusive: 1) The guy who did this is a derranged nutcase regardless of political beliefs, and we don't know all the facts. 2) People like Palin, Sharron Angle, and Glenn Beck do need to take responsibility for their violent rhetoric.   • Just goes to show that either party represents more militarism. Though Obama has a much more thoughtful, sane approach than Cheney/Bush and the boys. But i guess we'll see if his rhetoric about building local stability and then leaving really amounts to any difference.
